You can train on your own aircraft or we can provide one from our fleet.<\/p>\n<p>European aviation regulations require pilots to undergo training before acting as pilot in command of aircraft that have features such as a glass cockpit (EFIS), single-lever power control (SLPC), variable pitch (constant-speed) propeller (VP), turbocharging (T) or a retractable undercarriage (RU), to name a few. After you receiving the training, your Aeropole instructor will sign the endorsement in your logbook.<\/p>\n<p>The actual time on aircraft required is highly dependent on the your prior experience, but usually falls between 1-3 hours of flying. A reasonable amount of self-study followed by thorough ground briefings is the best way to ensure efficient learning in minimum time on the aircraft. We can train you on your aircraft or use one of ours, for example\u00a0the DA40-TDI\/NG (SLPC, EFIS) or the\u00a0<abbr title=\"Diamond Star, 180hp, G1000\">DA40-180<\/abbr> (VP, EFIS).<\/p>\n<p>For aircraft with advanced avionics (EFIS), see our <a title=\"Glass Cockpit Transition Course\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aeropole.dk\/da\/items\/glass-cockpit-efis-training\/\">Glass Cockpit Transition course<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Twin-engine aircraft require the MEP rating and thus you need to undergo a separate, even if short, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeropole.dk\/da\/items\/multi-engine-piston-mep\/\">modular MEP course<\/a> to obtain the rating if you\u2019ve only flown singles before; then the specifics of the DA42NG type will be addressed during the course.
