Listen to the interview (in Finnish) that was broadcast today in prime time on the Finnish national radio channel Yle Suomi (Ilmailun taustapeili 3/10). Aeropole’s Flight Instructor Mr. Antti Niska describes how to get started with flying as a hobby, ie. how to first become a Private Pilot and then some — possibly also making a career in aviation.

Aeropole provides VFR and general aviation familiarisation training to Air Traffic Controller students in cooperation with Avia College. This training, which is part of their curriculum, will permit the future air traffic controllers to see the air traffic system from the pilot’s point of view. The training will mostly be given on our Diamond DA40 glass cockpit aircraft.
